Safe Sunscreen.
In order to apply a safe sunscreen for you and your family, you need to take into account that they are:
- physical and non-chemical filters.
- and also zinc oxide ones (this way you protect the environment). And they must be non-nano, so that they do not penetrate the skin,
Then the format to choose from physical filters there are 2 options:
- cream: the best option, because they do not penetrate the skin (non-nanos) and act as a screen reflecting radiation.
- spray: dangerous because we can inhale the physical filters and they are toxic.
Which one have I chosen for myself and my family?
I’m a big fan of all Young Living products, and of course, their sunscreen.
It contains Helichrysum flower oil, one of the best plants you can put on your skin.
It also contains Lavandula angustifolia oil, plants that care for and pamper the skin.
It is sweat and water resistant and is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation for daily use.
In summary…
To get a safe sunscreen, keep in mind these three things: physical filters, zinc oxide and a cream format.
In this video, Victoria Moradell shows you how to make your own safe sunscreen. But since I don’t get everything I have decided to buy it. But here I leave you the video because it’s cool to watch also because it explains in more detail about sunscreens.
