3 mistakes to avoid if you want to learn to meditate

1. The first day of meditation will go great.

NOP!

YOU WOULD TRULY BE THE FIRST PERSON I KNOW THAT THE FIRST DAY HE STARTS MEDITATING HE DOES WONDERFULLY AND HAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

Meditating is a skill just like playing tennis, swimming, etc. The first day can be frustrating and you may end up worse off than you started.

All I can tell you is to KEEP practicing meditation and it will get much better.

You will get better and better at it and you will experience its benefits.

2. Start meditating without any help

you just close your eyes and that’s it NOP!

Music helps your brain to disconnect from the environment, put on headphones and inspirational music to get you started in meditation.

Another very good option to relax and meditate is to listen to guided meditations, let yourself be accompanied by these guided meditations. Meditation will be much easier and you will enjoy it much more.

3. Meditate lying down and not sitting

NOP!

Your body associates lying down with sleep.

And I already tell you that meditating and sleeping have nothing to do with each other.

Your brain in addition to lowering its brainwave frequency has to work at other energetic and biochemical levels and if you fall asleep meditation does not work.
